Weld doesn't weld once more
-
Hi to all
Please, I struggle with an "unweldable" curve.
Any suggestions.Thanks

Have you installed Recurve.rb?
Alan had a similar problem not getting Weld.rb to work in this thread: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=324775#p324775I still wonder if there is a conflict or not.

Weld started working again later, in another model, without me making any changes. But then Repair Broken Lines didn't work on a model yesterday. It reported lots of lines fixed....but it was lying. I had Model Info open and nothing changed. Something funny going on under the hood.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tested some similar curves and all weld/recurve but this one doesn't.Thanks anyway.

Check out ThomThom's Vertex Tools? or Cleanup?
Edit: Caveat lector.
-
As for the illustration: Did anybody check for extremely tiny forks or gaps along the "curve"?
-
I didn't find any forks or gaps and Weld worked just fine for me the first time I tried it on those edges.
-
All welded no probs and lofted with EEbyLoft properly too ?
-
Then this pushes the problem to either a faulty installation of the plugin, a conflicting other plugin, or an OS update, or other change in the system?

I've a feeling we've a troublesome script on our hands. There's been a few issues of late on numerous threads.

Weld is an excellent plugin and I use it permanently. I think that something occur in the plugin folder, some names became blue. I think I will reinstall SU ultimately xp.
Thanks for your support.

Hi to all,
In fact the problem was an alternate usage of weld and recurve plugins.
I have to make a choise btw them.1000 excuses for the Bothering.

I sometimes have problems too. I wrote them off to not restarting (Mac) often enough, because that often helps.
