Google SketchUp 7.1.6087

Does anyone what was fixed? Just small background things or is also something that we should know about?
-
Well, it seems there is no official announcement (yet). It should be Google that leaks out info I suppose.

Like a dry sponge...

This time I say nothing I am waiting next
-
Good, Pilou. Last time even the developers freaked out because they thought something leaked.
-
And a Mac version? Has an update been released for Mac, or are we 2nd class citizens again? (I just tried and I got nothing )
-
Looks like nothing for the MAC yet.
sigh
Cheers, Chuck

As far as I know, there is a Mac maintenance release, too. Not sure however as I am not a Mac user.

Did anyone noticed better performances with this maintenance release ? SketchUp seems to be quicker on my computer. I'll try tonight with fraps in order to check fps.
-
Did you upgrade to the previous 7.1 that was released a couple of months ago? 7.1 gave the biggest increase inperformance. This release should mostly be just fixing a few things that got weird in the 7.1 original release.
But if this is your first upgrade into the 7.1 series, then YES! you should notice a huge speed increase!

I already upgraded with the previous 7.1 release, and it seems that I have a better increase performance with this maintenance release. I'll check it this tonight.

Does anybody know if this breaks the .dwg import enabler for GSU, or if you can just run the enabler patch again if it does. I'm afraid to upgrade. They said it wouldn't be supported in later versions. Thanks
-
This is all I know...nothing more.

No,this is just a maintenance release and it should not affect the importer.
-
My understanding was that "later versions" meant later major versions. Like SU8.
-
Yes it's fixed now:
When editing a component and selecting a component within it, instances of that component were incorrectly highlighted if the "hide similar components" setting was checked. Instances are no longer highlighted in this case.Thank you a lot!
