You haven't installed TT_Lib2. Listed as a requirement near the Download button - with a link.
-
Thanks. Works a treat!

Maybe a button for automatic answers?

That's a good idea. Of course the answers to the most common questions regarding plugin errors have already been answered in the first post of the thread.

I'm changing my template for plugins - in the future they will bring up a messagebox and direct link to download the missing file. No amount of description will every catch all.

Thanks for another great one. One question. See my attached screengrab. When i run Clean3 the window turns grey (like your other plugin vray tools). When the screen greys out i can still see the model, is almost like a preview window. Is that right? is there a preview feature that I am not seeing.
I am using SU 8 Pro on Windows 7 machine if that helps.
-
There is no preview. It's just dimming the viewport to indicate that you should not interact with the model.
-
->thomthom I LOVE YOU )))) and your plugins. u saved my life and my master degree everything works great now.
-
Ah, the deadline panic. Glad it helped. -
Couldn't agree more. Thomas is an all around cool guy!

This is probably nothing...but, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 has identified TT-Lib - 2.6.0\TT_Lib2\libraries\win32\tt_api.so as a Trojan.Generic.KD.811184
Either the signature recognized by Bitdefender is in error, or TT_api.so has been compromised. Just to be sure, would you please post the checksum of your original tt-cleanup plugin.
warm regards
p.s.
I use every script you've produced and had amazing results. A tip of my hat to you sir.

I had a round with an update of Kaspersky that did the same thing. They've since correct it. Same thing here. Report it to Bitdefender as a false positive.

You mean the tt_api.so file of TT_Lib2, right? Because that's what is flagged here - not CleanUp. -
Thomas,
You are indeed correct in that I 'should have' referred to the tt_api.so file. Thanks for catching that.
warm regards
-
I suspect why occasionally it gets flagged is that it's a wrapper to the Win32API in Ruby - which include many system calls that causes the AV software to freak out.
-
Thomas,
Before I advise Bitdefender that tt_api.so is not a Trojan, could you please confirm the hash checksum of your tt_api.so against mine? At least that way, I can back up my assertion to the Bitdefender folks.
I've attached my tt_api.so specifics.
Thanks again

Here's mine - seems to concur:
