Is the wire work offset right slightly for any particular reason?

Yes my export from SU and THEA appear to be off by a few pixels!! Arghh annoying, I was so tired when I posted it I never noticed. Day 8 of no smoking taking its mental toll.

Good luck with that Liam a tough nut to crack. May the force be with you.

Wow have not been on here for so long, work has been so busy. Anyway some recent work....
The first one is cheating a but because a lot of the base mesh was not made in SU just the detail work, both rendered in THEA.
The third is for an image I did for my wall. Its a large 100*100cm print on canvas.

I remember seeing the space tug but thought I had commented on it already. Oops, I guess not.
Very cool!

Love it! You've just designed an Antarctic continental drill rig.

Kit bash from some CAD ship model on the warehouse with a scifi lower half I built based on the Nasa crawler. Practicing illustration techniques!
This illustration style can now be automated from photoshop via a desktop droplet from raw sketchup output.

Thanks, its just basically a kit bash of three models I have built before with a few days of extra model time, then a whole load of photoshop.

neat pics and images. seems like there are a lot of people out here with a lot of work in the general category of needs team to finish it. I know i am good at generating models and poor at painting them or creating back ground scenes and etc i don't have a clue as how to operate a rendering engine and my old puter couldn't handle one anyhow.
But i have tonne loads of models, and it would be really sweet if we could form some kind of team you guys and you know- collaborate up a storm. I have a team on slack i just made named think starship. This is a fine thread and all but unless the admins created 20 new sub forums here its not really collaboration space theres nothing but scrawl to read for something approaching encyclopedia set length.
Which is again good to show off art and ideas but bad if you were ever going to get 100 peeps to put new and fresh details on your old ideas,...
seems to me something like slack with its channels system is ideal that way, also uploading pics to this site is a lot more of a pain.

Hi panstrohm,
All of this is my mostly unfinished work and designs. The reason the thread is so long is that sometimes (although not recently due to work) I can do a lot of things in a rather short space of time and don't want to spam the gallery section with robots and my assortment of flying machines, its easier for somebody to ignore 1 thread rather than 20 if they don't want to see that type of stuff ).
In my head I still plan to go back and finish everything myself (sometimes I randomly refine things I did over 5 years ago).
Generally most of the things on here, especially the early stuff, my sills just where not up-to scratch to complete on the screen what I had in my head. Its only really in the last two years that I have been able to do that. If anything does actually get finished ( extremely rare I might add) then I will try to put it on my website: http://www.robotsvdinosaurs.com/
Thanks for the offer of collaborating, in the past when I was finding my way that is really one of the things that helped be advance my skills, especially from the people on this forum. However these days 3D is my outlet, a relaxing hobby that is so different from my actual day job I find it very relaxing and fun. For that reason mostly I no longer really do any collaboration work unless I am going to get paid for it (also very rare ).
