[edit] after a second look at your example image, maybe this isn't what you're trying to achieve

NEW VERSION 2.0c

Fredo, i have upgraded your amazing free scale tool. I have noticed a strange behaviour. When you use, for example, the scale tool the model has a sort of instantaneous jump and then return to his proper size. Is that normal? Thanks.

Did any one notice the flickering in 2.0b?

Actually the flickering effect was already in version 2.0b. Strange that I did not notice (and none until Massimo).
-
True Fredo. But the very strange thing is that i did not notice the flickering (in "b" version i mean) until i went back from "c" to "b" version.
-
Absolutely amazing plugin Fredo, words fail me for this incredible achievement and generosity- such a useful and well-designed ruby! Donation is on its way as soon as pay day arrives.
-
Coen,
I added the native Protractor feature in the (c) releases of LibFredo6 and FreeScale.
Any other feature with the protractor that I do not know about?

NEW VERSION 2.0c NOW RELEASED
See details in main post http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=17948&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p144180You also need to download LibFredo6 3.1c
Fredo
PS: the reason of the dealy was a small flickering effect when manipulating the deformation box. Actually, it was in version b already. It is hopefully fixed now.

Brilliant, intuitive and simply fantastic... this should have come with SU to begin with.... heck google should beg you to make stuff for them! You are the Ruby-Master!! Thanks a million!!

For some strange reason the Radial Bend feature just stopped working? everything else seems fine. Or maybe I am not using it right? Any ideas?
-
Your not trying it on a highly grouped/compenented model by any chance? As far as i can tell things start to go funny when youve got more than 2 levels of groups.

David,
What is the exact problem:
- does it crash or bug splat?
- Do you see the protractor and can you use it?
- do you see the wireframe?

I liked that plugin a lot, this is saving a lot of my time. But...
I don't know if I will get to explain the problem of behavior of the plugin that doesn't please me, but I will try.
My displeasure is regarding the Icon "Stretching with Box by matching an origin and the target." After it is chosen the plan where Stretch should happen, I cannot use a relationship of distance among distant objects as it could use the command MOVES common of Sketchup. I need to draw a line or object to the close origin point and the close target point to make Stretch. It would be interesting if it went as in the command it MOVES of the sketchup, where I can use points of it distances wanted distant of the object that desire to make Stretch. -
NEW VERSION 2.0d
It fixes a major bug introduced in 2.0c for the target mode of Scale, Stretch, Shear, and also for setting the dimensions via the dialog box. Sorry for inconvenience.
So it is strongly advised to upgrade.
As a bonus, you'll get the Korean translation by Couque D`asse. All details are in main post http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=17948&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p144180
Note: You will also need to download LibFredo6 3.1d

'Thanks Fredo' seems so insignificant!!!

Fredo. . .
Downloaded the latest version and the bending works now. But the Icons don't show up on the tool bar. I had them before just fine . . .now I don't.
I just didn't get a chance to mention it. I had this problem with 2.0c as well.
DO they icons png's belong in their own subfolder?

Hi,
OK I've Dealt with it
I'm reposting this from the Newbie forum. I've been taking advantage of the current economic down turn, to, amongst other things learn Sketchup. The reason I joined the forum is my interest in Fredo's amazing freescale tool. I'm very new to SketchUcation. A few months into Shetchup, and less than six months back to Mac after an absence since OS 4. I'm using a Mac running Leopard and have been unable to install the downloads correctly in my plugins folder. I was wondering if someone could post a screen shot of the folder hierarchy properly installed? I have been following the posts on the Ruby forum and have tried several ways to do the installation, but no joy. All suggestions gratefully accepted.John
