What are you talking about? What doesn't work with millimeters? The LibFredo06 files are, as described in the first post of this thread, just a shared library used by other plugins. Is it one of those plugins that you are having trouble with? I'll bet any money all of Fredo's plugins work in millimeters.

yep now i ve changed settings instead of 50 cm 0.5mm. anyway thanks

@slocraftus
What are you talking about ?
This is a 'Lib' thread which does nothing but help other tools work.
If you have an issue with one of the related tools post in that thread.
This is nonsense otherwise... -

I think you refer to the offset value in RoundCorner.
As mentioned by TIG, this is not related to LibFredo6 itself.Fredo

This is not actually a comment on the latest LibFredo6, but more of a huge THANK YOU to Fredo6 and all of the people engaged in making the RB:s that are affiliated to Fredo6! You can tell there is a lot of work put into them.
These plugins are GREAT.
I think intermediate and advanced users of SU really have a lot of use for these plugins. Not only are the basic ideas for the functions very good but the code is also well written and the user friendliness is high.I work with architectural design and more free-form stuff and today I almost addicted to many of these RB:s by Fredo6.
(sorry for posting this here, I couldnยดt figure out how to send a message directly. Hope you see this)

It doesn't round corners, it just softens edges. This is native behavior and has nothing to do with LibFredo6 or the Round Corners plugin.
It sounds as if you would find this link a good thing. This, too.

please help me, i install the latest release of libfredo and round corner, but the round corner did not work.the small toolbar that contains 3 icons appears but when i want to use it the the tallbar that contain the measurement does not appear

Incorrectly installed. Go back to the first post of each thread and make sure you've installed both plugins correctly. The footprints of the plugins are given. Make sure they match in your Plugins folder.

Help.....I've tried numerous times to install LibFredo6 with no success. I've followed the instructions. I can see the folder and .rb file in my plugins folder but I can find nothing in the windows setting of SU. I've also attempted to install FredoScale and RoundCorner with no luck at all.
I'm running SU 8 on a Mac.
I'm new to the forum and am just delving into the world of plugins (which I am VERY excited about).
I appreciate any help. I know it's probably just one little thing I'm doing wrong. Thanks,

Assuming you have correctly installed the files/subfolder-of-files in the MAC's plugins folder?
You haven't told us where you think that is (clue: it ought to be the 'HD' plugins folder and not the 'user' one)... also have your definitely installed everything as explained in the download notes ??
Assuming that step is right... have you activated the tools under Preferences > Extensions?
Once they are activated their toolbars become available for activation and sub-menus/items are added to the 'Fredo' submenu under the 'Tools' menu too...
Some folder screenshots etc might help if you are still stuck fast... -
I've tried to get this to work for a few days now and I can't figure it out. I've removed the libfredo6 v34 from my plugins folder and added v47. Sketchup keeps giving me this error: 'Module RoundCorner requires LibFredo6 version greater than 37. Current version is 34'. I've even uninstalled sketch up, deleted my plugins folder & reinstalled a clean version. Not sure whats wrong here. Any ideas? Thanks. -Joe

Juuuust figured this out - for some reason my new OS was hiding my user library folder. Sketchup reads both the user and the HD plugin folders but it seems to favor the user folder when there is a duplicate file. I ended up consolidating into one plugin folder on my HD and now all my magnificent Fredos work perfectly.
Hope this helps someone making the same silly mistake.

Having trouble installing this. Says I have files in wrong place. followed example in the instructions or so I thought.

So you might want to hold off installing anymore plugins until you get this sorted out. Are you using Windows 7? If so, the most likely issue is a lack of sufficient privileges to that folder. Open the Plugin folder's properties and under Security, change the permissions you you have full read and right permissions. Then reinstall the plugin files making sure you maintain the file structure as shipped in the ZIP file. Restart SketchUp and we'll go from there.

Yes... Read the last ten or twenty posts...
These kinds of errors are almost always because the OP has not installed the files/subfolders correctly, although it is quite clearly explained on the tool's download page... Check the files'/subfolders' "footprint" are as illustrated...
OR alternatively you simply can't add them to the 'plugins' folder because they haven't got sufficient permissions to add files to that folder - if so fix the permissions and retry...
If you do get 'error-messages' then it's pointless keeping them to yourself when asking for help [actually worse than useless because it annoys the very people who might be able to help you otherwise], the error-messages very reason for being is to pass on information, so that someone may have some clues about what's wrong... many error messages are so obvious that we look at them and say, 'do this to fix it...'; however, in this case even without the messages I'd bet money on it being one or both of the above causes
