-
Thank you, Majid.
I'm preparing a video tut for Youtube on the same subject (KT for architects), and I'll post a link to your pdf as an incredibly good reference.
-
Although I haven't had a chance to sit down with it I can tell by first glance that it answers some of the questions I have.
Thanks for all the effort on this. -
Thanks majid.
You make it difficult for me to find reasons not to give KT a try with such valuable tutorials like this.

I had played with KT a while back and I didn't really get it. (big surprise there) I ve got KT07 on my machine now but I haven't had the chance (or the courage I guess) to take it on again. I guess I need to give it a second look.

Thank you majid

dear david I myself started whit KT07 , but strongely encourage you to use KT echo 2008, most easiest and faster/simplest version.

thanx dear solo , I haven't covered anythins and even all the mateials I've read are not so tight ( but simplified for beginners ). BTW I think whit an artist eye you have , soon we will see some great renders .
I strongly need your feedbacks for next editions. -
now i uploaded the material test scene whit some preset light and cameras . so you can easily test your materials over it .

Welcome, there is always room for one.

Thank you for the wonderful resource majid. I'm moving from POVray to Kerkythea and your guide is helping "smooth out the learning curve".
Cheers.
-
hey majid,
great initiative. although i do not use KT most of my students do and it will help them a lot. thanks!
-
I prepared a simple interior scene.
pls see scenes in sketchup , there r some tips there , then export your model to kt.
adjust steel materials and dielectric and also thinGlass materials,
then go to setting-->sun and sky-->next-->choose sky color as white and set intensity to 2.
use render preset 6 and render.
you also may open my kzx file that i've attached and is ready to render and render it.
cheers majid

dear Edson.which render engine do u use? as i am a freeware user, i've used KT for a long while. ( i tried pov-ray but confused by errors, also it was the same whit indigo). and i think it is fast and easy enough to try it. so pls give it a try .and maybe my tutorial can help you!!!
-
i have been using podium for about a year (run a search under my name in the gallery and you will see a couple of renders i produced with it). it is the one that suits my needs best at the moment. but i have not written KT off. i may give it another try when i have the time.
-
Master Edson, then you are actually a Kerkythea user. You're just using it with a simplified interface.
-
Majid
I was wondering if we can use your interior model for our 'Render this challenge'?

yes for sure dear solo . i think it's composion needs some work . maybe a ceiling light or something vertical at the left part of the view can help the composition to be more balanced. it would be very nice to see what results would be achieved
