Great assets all. Armour paint is not free but it is cheap enough not to matter tbh. 16 euro's is near enough free for me anyway.
Oh, I didn't know they charged now. Still worth it though considering what it can do.

Nice work Rich.

These are superb Rich. I wish I had your talent in texturing inside Sketchup. Would you mind sharing some of your working process tips or secrets, please?

A little lo-poly oven fan which is part of a larger collection of bit and pieces players can scavenge whilst looting in the open world
What's fun is the poly limit you need to consider. The textures do the heaving lifting and for the mesh to act as a silhouette.
I did many houses for the game too but only modelling and unwrapping. They textures those themselves.
The game is on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/1766060/HumanitZ/
There's a tons of little bits all done in SketchUp with texturing in Substance Painter.

The assets are so real that I hardly believe my eyes, Rich!

@Rich-O-Brien really nice! I'd loved to see the wire and the UVs.

In most cases I'd probably just baked that engraved detail at the center of the flat surface (into some normal or height or maybe both), being that the siluette of that shape it's unlikely to be seen.
Is that supposed to be seen really close?
Are you using Unity? -
It will be baked down. These are type of hero shots for the game UI.
They are using Unreal. Its their first game so its cool watching them develop and improve over time.
-
@Rich-O-Brien wow, Unreal is the best, but where I live it's way easier to find developer intersted/proficient in Unity. Is this an indie/hobby project or a paid job?

Prior to them launching I did stuff for free. Mainly just to see my stuff in a game and to stroke my massive ego
But since they launched they've actually been pretty good to me. Game is getting good reviews and they keep adding content.
So when it comes to needing little props and stuff they get in touch. So its kinda paid but only when they are position to do so.
