Aviva Chair

I love Marc Berthier designs. His Aviva chair is probably my fav piece of furniture.
I put the model up in the shop as a free download....

His catalog of designs is epic to browse...

^ I agree, very effective, thank you.

Amazingly resolved design I am not familiar with this piece. Do you have a pick of it in the folded position?
-
To keep model light I excluded many of the mechanics that allow the sliding/folding action. But its a really nice design.
I imagine the majority of the cost is the hardware. These chairs are typically above $200.
Although Ikea likely have a 'version'

I like this. It's simple (no offense) and the design is nice.

garystan"simple" is something designers aspire too. Designers often say between themselves "nobody understands how much complex work is is to make something look simple"

I love a design with function in mind.
Great model and skills.
You did UV unwrap this model and used Substance Designer for texturing? -

Yes, WrapR for the UVs and Painter for textures. I did a SUbD version with lots of polys to get a nice normal map bake to use on the lo-poly mesh.
