Follow me into different radius
-
Hi Iโm trying to make a cover on a 90 angle , but the 2 sides have different radius, how can i blend the 2 together , thinking of follow me some how
Maybe do the longer radius around the 90 angle and then scale down? -
The longer side radius needs to be twice the size of the shorter one

Sorry, says the file is to large, changed it down and still wont go through
Thanks for your patience -
Hope this helps

Since you seem to be having problems adding an Image, is it this sort of thing you are after?
-
Yes but a radius in the corner where they meet, so it blends through
Thanks for your time -
It can be done manually but it's much easier with Curviloft and Joint Push Pull.
One little note here, By using the center inference and magenta the small radius will be half the large one.

Genius !!!!!!
Thanks so much, you make it look so easy
-
It's only genius if it is clear enough for you to follow, otherwise it is just speed modelling which isn't very helpful.
There are various other ways to do something similar depending on the actual result you need. If needed you can still add an image as there may be a better option.

For Curviloft to operate correctly, you need to select only the external contours, not the inner corner edges. Watch the short video by Box again.

Aha ok thanks for that ill try again on Monday

For a bit of clarity, in my gif you see me select all of it and show that it doesn't work as it highlights too many edges, then I hold down shift to deselect the corner faces. You could also activate the tool with nothing selected and just click on the edges you need.

hi I followed your example and got this, any ideas
thanks so much for your time

Why don't you upload the SKP file so we can see what you started with?
