Airship in dock

I must have missed the original inspiration, however, it is an atmosphere that goes with a build/render that makes it and you have this in spades. Cracking.

Thanks! I am only copying a master, Syd Mead.
Pilou posted the original up thread.

And that should do it. Next I'll try a render this weekend.

Nice, but I have some doubts. Airships are very sensitive to wind, so, unless they are in a closed hangar, they should always face the wind, held by the nose. The nose crane should be on rails, to move around to keep the ship facing the wind, and the land structures should be drawn so as not to interfere with the movement ...

It's not easy to see, but there are aft, port and starboard docking cranes as well.

Missed this one somehow. Turned out great Bryan.

Yes nice result Bryan, lot of work as well Was thinking if you did a render with an environment such as a sky dome with the surface of the balloon being reflective? I think that would look amazing........jus a thought.

Oh, the humanity! (sorry, somebody had to say it)
Fantastic scene, Bryan. But have to admit I liked the first terminal better, the one that mimicked the shape of the airship. -
Thanks Daniel!
I liked the first terminal better as well, but decided to try to stay closer to the original design.
