Is it possible to distribute vertices uniformly?

Well, that's the question: Is it possible to distribute the vertices from a quad mesh uniformly? I mean if is there a way to avoid doing it manually or starting again from zero. Is there any extension to convert the right mesh into the left mesh?

No, but I did ask Thomthom to add this to SUbD because some type of relax is needed.

First of all I have to say I can't write a single line of code, but I think it could fit better including this feature in Vertex Tools. You should be able to select a single loop and distribute the distances between its vertices, makes sense?
