Hello everyone
I just installed vray for sketchup 8 demo version, I nell'intefaccia window appears and vray plugin can also be seen in the "plugins" at the top then it means that the installation is successful.
I can not, however, to change the values ββof the intensity of light (any type of light) in the 'light editor, I can only enter 0 or -1 as you can?
I tried to uninstall and rinstallare several times is that vray sketchup pro 8, but to no avail, the problem persists.
I ask you to help!
thank you very muchI would contact the customer support on the Chaos Website.

I am responding here just for the sake of publishing a solution. Maybe it will be useful to others.
The problem Ale had, was that she could not change intensity values in the vray light editor.
This happens when you try to insert the value using a period like so: 4.00
What you want to do is, instead, insert the value with a comma: 4,00
Remember to click OK on the editor, and this value will be stored for the light you are modifying!
Happy rendering

Not sure of his units settings but I use decimals (.) in all of my parameters with no problems. I have never seen anyone use commas (,)

We do, here in Italy.
Periods are used for thousands: 1.000.000

Actually, most countries use commas as decimal marks.
Green : Comma
Blue : Full stop -
And the red just don't believe in punctuation? lol.
-
They use something called "Momayyez".
