Time for a change for me...

Congratulations!, Chris.
As we can see, (image) you were thinking ahead / are already prepaired for this job and 3D BaseCamp. Even then you knew this was going to happen.p.s. I think your "start ruby scripting" tutorials are great. Wish there were more.
All the best to you and your family in Boulder, with your new job.

Better image of Chris in action.

Many Congrats, Chris. I guess you'll be trading the surfboard for a trail bike now.

How exciting! Best of luck to you and your family on the move.
I can only think SU just got better with the stroke of a pen...nice.Having been the recipient of your generosity through your plug-gins, i selfishly hope you keep in touch with the forums.
Good Luck,
Alfredo

pretty much the largest mountains in the u.s.
but after i typed the bit about them being a rock, i remembered richard is austrailian so if he wants to call that a rock, it IS in fact a rock

(for me personally though.. i grew up in florida in which the top of your house is the highest point in the state.. and a rock is a bit of dried mud that you throw at your friend.. so when i go to colorado, i feel as if im viewing something majestic)
-
Yea, I was great going up in the mountains a little bit. Didn't go far - because we only had some rented town bikes. But I was surprised that the height, Boulder being at being 1.6km, was noticeable when doing even the lightest exercises. They said one had to spend a week to get fully adjusted.
Norway's highest mountains only go up to ~2.5km - but it occurred to me when I was in Boulder that despite all the mountains in Norway - I've never really been more than half way up I think.
I loved the landscape in boulder. Flat in three sides and then the wall of "the rock"

Gold mining area? Think I saw some references to it on the tourist signs - along with suggestions of "make yourself look bigger if you encounter a bear or mountain lion" ... yea - I'll just jump on my stilts... ..or just my shrink-gun on the animal.

Congratulations Chris, You've been really helpfull for this community and I'm sure You'll be helpfull there too !! And It's nice to have a landscape architect in the dev team !!

Thanks everyone! I've finished my 2nd week, started into my 3rd. I've pretty much re-written the entire software single-handedly, sold a billion copies to the Martians, and pretty much fixed every bug out there. Or well, something like that.
(seriously don't let anyone else on the dev. team see this, I don't want to get fired already!) ehehhee
I am totally enjoying working on the development team. They are as amazing as I had hoped for. Each and every one of them is talented and contributes their own amazing talents to SU. I just hope I can keep up! (so far so good
)And yes, I am very excited about this golden ticket to Basecamp! I don't want to ever miss another one either!!!!!!
