Image Brighter than normal
-
Hi,
I`m trying to learn v-ray but when I follow this first lesson http://www.vray.com/vray_for_sketchup/manual/render_options_for_vray_for_sketchup.shtml
But instead of getting a dark gray scene rendering the three chairs file with the default settings I`m getting this very bright image.
I`m using SU 8 free version.
What am I missing ? What should I do ?
Thanks

Hi, no need to post three times the same topic. New members have to wait just a bit for a moderator's approval. (for the first three posts)

Sorry, I`ve just realized that.

No problem and welcome.

Wild guess: you're using sunlight and haven't turned on the physical camera. Turn it on, adjust the exposure settings.

How do I turn sunlight off ?
Thanks -
Sunlight is controlled by GI. Here are some recommendations to help you on your learning path.

I wouldn't use this file or the tutorials that go along with it. It's from an older version of VRay and if you are using 1.49.01 these tutorials, although helpful, are outdated.

Go to the Chaos YouTube page and watch all of the videos for VR4SU. These are very informative. The link is in the stickies of these forums.

Review the VR4SU manual http://www.vray.com/vray_for_sketchup/manual/
