Rounded corner plugin - need help
-
If Sketchup becomes 'unresponsive' ["white-out"] it doesn't mean that it has 'hung'.
It can simply be processing a lot of data.
Left alone for a few minutes it might well complete the operation.Try it on a very simple object to test it.
Make a square with 1m sides.
PushPull it into a cube that is 1m high.
Select just the cube's top face/edges [double-click].
Run the Round Corners tool.
In the controls set the radius to 100mm and the number of sides to 6.
OK to confirm, Enter ['tick] to commit [i.e. to process]... -
hellooo .... after such uninstall & install .. finally I can use the round corner success .... I again follow the instruction include the "permission" for the plugin folder. thank you thank youuuu ... but
....it seems that after I update mysketchup program I found that my cursor is not pointed on the right place... for example I want to point the angle . normally I just point my cursor on it and it will snap on the angle.. but now i have to put my cursor somewhere around it to get the snap ..
oh my god....
-
this is the screen shot ....
I can't do diminution, tape measure, rotate, move, etc etc ... it seems that my cursor and the program is not match ...
-
the cursor is not located on the green dot ... it's few inch at the top of the green dot.....
.. and I also can not make the rules ....
-
This looks like a Graphics card, OpenGL, fast-feedback etc issue.
Try adjusting these settings one at a time in the Preferences dialog...
With the correct settings the cursor should return to 'normal'... -
holaaa...
I already change the setting in open GL but it won't work....
even the scrolling is switched ... to zoon in I usually fit with scroll up on my mouse ... now it's scroll down ...
may be any other suggestion ? ... if I go back using my old version of sketch up pro 8 then the round corner is not working..... -
Double check your system's mouse settings - these might be wrong ?
-
i already check my mouse setting and all is OK .. event in the preference i try all items and still the mouse located not on the right position. i also already try to reinstall the sketchup but still the same case....

hi joe,
it seems you may have a corrupt .plist file.. it's possible that all of the uninstall/reinstalls may be the culprit (the sketchup plist files will not remove themselves upon a typical unistall..) you have to trash them manually.
try this:
--close sketchup
--click on finder in the dock
--click the 'go' menu at the top of the screen
--hold down the option key
--a new menu item named 'library' will appear under the go menu (this is the user library-- click on it)
--open the folder named 'preferences'
--find the file 'com.google.sketchuppro8' (or whatever version you're using)
-- trash the file then launch sketchupedit- please note** trashing the .plist file then restarting sketchup will create a new .plist... however, all settings will be at default so it will appear as if you've launched sketchup for the first time (welcome screen, standard template, etc)
