So much thanks to the team for such a remarkable publishing.

I just have finished to read the David Hier article about modeling architecture "VILLA" (p20) and have found it definitely intructive.

Sure, you can share it wherever you like. If you share the redirect ink, we can also track where clicks come from. http://sketchucation.com/catchup/2011/12/

the thumbnail wont showed up with the link given though.
i'll try to find another way.
                thank you Gaieus.

the flipping one works fine if it shared (fb) with "share on facebook" feature.

                  hi Rich,

i shared it on my wall on facebook.
with the java script provided by facebook, share on facebook.

                  javascript:var d=document,f='http://www.facebook.com/share',l=d.location,e=encodeURIComponent,p='.php?src=bm&v=4&i=1251646389&u='+e(l.href)+'&t='+e(d.title);1;try{if (!/^(.*\.)?facebook\.[^.]*$/.test(l.host))throw(0);share_internal_bookmarklet(p)}catch(z) {a=function() {if (!window.open(f+'r'+p,'sharer','toolbar=0,status=0,resizable=1,width=626,height=436'))l.href=f+p};if (/Firefox/.test(navigator.userAgent))setTimeout(a,0);else{a()}}void(0)

                  CatchUp screenshot.png

i've opened the SketchUcation page on facebook. but, the CatchUp 6 haven't been posted there yet. tested the CatchUp 5 to share it, yet it wont show the thumbnail.

that one was shared with the flipping page link and the java script above.

[edit] direct download link will work with the "old fashion" copy and paste way right onto the status update box.

When it comes to Facebook I'm the wrong guy to ask. I deleted my account last month as it served no purpose.

i can see what you mean probably.
since i haven't been that active in that fb networks either for about Β±3 weeks.
it was a good one once a while though, a little better than Linkedin.

Great job! Looks great and fine articles by everyone. I like the quality, seeing David's images with explanation then being able to zoom in to study the detail. Thanks! Peter

Might be true - have not tried yet. However itz says it's an upcoming feature so in the future it will be available:

just went to the PDF link and opened it in iBooks... so that worked well.

                                nice job everyone!

Try Adobe PDF reader app. It can be a bit sluggish on iBooks.

If we launched a dedicated iPad it would mean charging as it costs to host on iTunes but we could do alot more interactive stuff with videos etc.

We stick with free for now. πŸ˜‰

Issuu are beta testing an iPad friendly version that is pretty cool as I used it.

                                    Looks great!!!

I'm glad my work-flow tutorial proved informative (I was concerned that it was a bit too basic). At some point I'll probably create a more detailed version for my website, share some of the models and textures used and upload the more detailed version of the main Villa PM model.
