This tool was a problem because it rewrote a number of core class/methods that then clashed with many other tools - it hasn't been 'current' for a while - pity as it was potentially useful...
-
im already register, but still got no password send to me
-
It also messes with base classes, so it's best avoided ??
-
This script has caused a lot of problems. Best if it were removed or re-written. But I can't keep up with life lately, so I won't be getting to it anytime soon.
-
I've tried registering but have recieved no email, is there a problem with it?
could someone foreward me a password to bobat16<at>hotmail<dot>com ?
Cheers

It does not seem to work; its a shame. I have the files. Its seems compatibility might had been broken. Also the website has a broken download link (and generally it seems broken and possibly abandoned). I have some old files from 2013 (unpacked); if someone would want to try and fix the issues I would be grateful.

As was mentioned a few posts back [but ~3 years ago !] http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=287700#p287700
The toolset seems abandoned, is flaky AND is potentially harmful to the loading/operation of several other tools anyway.
It is a 'rogue' which messes with native/base classes and its installation is best avoided.
It will also almost certainly not be v2014 compatible [but please complete your SCF User Profile so we might better help you].
The tool's files are encrypted as rbs - effectively making them uneditable and unknowable [without a Trimble-only 'decompiler' app - which would then break the ToS]...As currently supplied in the previous post's ZIP, the files will 'install', but not 'load' as SketchUp starts, because the 'loader' rbs has be disabled using the SketchUcation 'Plugins Manager' [note the final ! on file-type]...
I do not recommend installing OR using it at all !
Instead, why not write a usage-spec and start a new thread that asks for development of a similar new Plugin ?
I have PM'd you with something to try...
-
the website is not working, is there any alternative i can access to the download? thanks
-
Look at the post just one before yours - this tool is not recommended for installation/use at all !
Look at the post just two before yours - there's a ZIP file containing the current files.Use at your own risk.

Personally I loved this tool, I would love to see it revived!
I mailed the creator with the question to update / open-source his code...
In the 2nd case, would anybody be interested in updating it for SU 2014+ ?Crossing my fingers..
EDIT - good news:@unknownuser said:
Thanks for your email, good to see that SunTools is useful and helpful during the design process.
As you sure know, SU 2014 uses a new version of Ruby, Iβm updating the plug-in, hope it will be ready ASAP. -
please someone give me the password thanx esteban_arq@hotmail.com

SunTool [plugin]
Requires an update! You can make your requests to:

I have sent the following email requesting an update:
Guedi ,
I was checking in to see if you intended to "update" your SunTool to run on SketchUp 2017? -
That is an educational institution and SunTool, quite possibly, was a project of some sorts of his. I wouldn't hold my breath, although I do agree that it would be good to see the tool updated.

Look in the EWH ?
https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/search/site/sunThis tool is well past its best and I don't recommend it ...
