    Does anyone know of a plugin that can help me creating a curved face in the area shown in the illustration ?

      Tig's Extrude Toolset

      Soap Skin Bubble

      Curviloft

      That geometry will need to be polylines is some cases though. Post back if you've hassle. Or post the model and let members go wild 😉

          I tried using the sandbox tools, but it seems to use triangles...

              TIG's Extrude Edges by Rails would be another good option. That's how I did the above.
