    Heya,

I've push-pulled a pillar out of a half circle. I created a seamless marble pattern, but when I paint that over the pillar, some parts aren't positioned correctly. (see the red arrows on the picture) Does anybody knows how to fix this?

Thx a lot Frederik! I tested it out and it works. It renders it a little bit different, but it's seamless now.

        Thanks again

to be able to export it to render engies correctly (at least with indigo) you need to triangulate all faces. if you have the subdivide & smooth plugin, simply subdivide it and every face will be triangulated...

Doesn't skindigo automatically triangulates the faces/facets?
SU2KT does (and preserves UV maps).

I don't think so, because when the UV Tool plugin came out, triangulating faces was the only way to make it work in indigo.
but I have to admit, that I have now idea 😳 Whaat? can you help us? πŸ˜‰

Another way to sort the textures out natively is to turn on hidden geometry (view->hidden geometry) then sample the texture on the main face and paint it on to every other face. Probably a lot easier to use the UV plugin for anything with lots of faces though, as painting every face can get a bit boring.
