Here's a model originally posted by Andre. Perhaps it will add some variety to your collection. I don't remember if Andre posted it here or at the old Google SU forums. If you want designer chairs try searching the component for Markus. He's modelled and posted many great furniture models. Regards, Ross corda-chair-posted-by-andre.skp

In addition to Joe's suggestion, you might try SU's wood_deck_fake texture (in the wood library - it has a wider grooves, like most T-111 panels do) or a lap siding texture, rotated 90 degrees.

I attach a couple texture images that strike me as being kind-a drum like. I don't know who originally made them. I found them on a sharing site years ago. Regards, Ross [image: Jt9j_Mohavel.jpg] [image: DSRy_Navahol.jpg]

@mateo soletic said: Who said anything about 3D models? I cant find anything either. Well... As johnsenior already said, it's all in the subject of the thread... Don't pull your gun so fast... Somebody might get hurt sometime... @johnsenior - thanks for the heads up... Unfortunately it seem as if the 3D models are few and far in between...

Joao, Yeah, I haven't seen a style like that, but I also haven't searched a lot. I'm looking for something like that as well - and will probably try and make one myself. There's a tutorial here that shows how to make a style, you should try and make one!

Hello- lowpolygon3d is a good source. If you look around the site, you can download a sample of each of their types (2d and 3d). Here is another site I have used- http://www.got3d.com/. http://www.archvision.com/RPCPeople.cfm Is another company that seems to have very high quality models. I am pretty sure you can download samples from both of those sites as well. And as always... http://www.google.com/search?q=low+poly+people&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Google is always a great place to start. Good luck and let us know what you find. Aaron

cmead, This subforum is for sharing components not for talking about styles. You have already asked for a da Vinci style and never visited that thread back: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=10135 also, please, avoid double posting all over the places, see topic: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10165

Thanks, Dave. I am playing with styles and seeing how I can it to look as loose as possible. I am even scanning a piece of smudged paper to use as a watermark.... Will post next week. By the way, this is where the inspiration came from.... I think it was a thread from this forum a while back or it may be PPB2... Thanks for your insight, Dave! Hmmm. As they say, necessity is the mother of all.... Time to hit the books on Layout. I know I downloaded the manual here, somewhere...
