Funny! Reminds me of when I lived on a farm and had to teach a calf to eat solid food(for real). I used to look after the cat of a friend of a friend, and it required a pill with it's meal. After listening to her instructions on how to give the cat it's pills (for kidney ailment, so it was important cat got it) in which it frequently spit it out, I opted to crush the pill between two spoons and mix it in the food. Problem solved. Seems logiocal to me, but I keep encountering people who go through the difficult task of trying to cram it down the cat's throat. Cheese works good for dogs' pills too, if you don't have bacon handy.

When modeling, it is usually at the design development phase (of architecture) and although i may not think in those specific terms, the thought process is there: is the building's composition of elements in balance, are the materials (colors) used appropriately. When setting up a scene for exporting an image, I follow the same guidelines of composition I learned when everything was done by hand.

Thank you guys! I'm still happy and off the table now, getting normal liver-count values again PS: In boring lessons, you were never dreaming of rocking after your graduation over all these tables in the auditorium to one of your favourite songs ?

That's British irony, Walter. The most likely thing would be that they would canibalise it for parts...to make a napkin-sketch Plugin for ACAD...then just ditch the remaining dried husk altogether. After all, you can't have people designing stuff on a free or $500 piece of software when they could be using ACAD.

Interesting idea. I did wonder something similar myself, but using the pedals from a gaming steering wheel set. It seemed you needed to have the pedals plugged into the steering wheel though for them to work and I didn't really want a steering wheel sat on my desk!

Sorry Elmer, I didn't include / attach a file as I thought its a simple procedure to just change the material on the inside of the glass.

Google is probably migrating the "Old Forums" to the Groups right now. The Groups are exceptionally slow and you have to post things 2 or 3 times until they get through - you know I often post there too; kind of a "mission" I guess... "Scaleability"? I wonder what improvements they are going to implement - but they haven't "warned" the Groups users about the changes yet. Though there are maybe only about half a dozen regular posters there who cares - and they are regular visitors of the Pro Forums, too, so they might already know that something is happening...

I hope Coen welcomes the idea. I met him at 3dBaseCamp and he doesn't need to loose any weight but no doubt he realized I do!

Might get my hands on a Dell Precision Worksation 530 (1.7GHz XEON, 2x 256MB RD RAM) soon. Will let you know how it compares with my current machine (P4 Northwood, 3.4GHz, 2x 512MB DDR low latency). Hopefully I'll be able to get another CPU and some more RAM for the Dell, but I think it'll be as scarce as hens' teeth, especially the RD RAM. Hoping to use it purely for rendering.
