@gaieus said: He... This is fun, too. Are you using it as a desktop icon for a shortcut? Yes as a shortcut to the community forums. This is how to install it. Download the zip file Unzip (the ico is inside) Copy the icon to C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll (this is the windows default icon folder). Place a Shortcut to the Sketchucation support forums on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut Click on "change the icon" - Browse to the default folder and pick the icon. Greetings, Bep

Yeah, I also made it with Gimp (I guess I could/should have played more with making the transparent borders nicer but in such a small image they cannot be seen anyway)

@unknownuser said: It's a music, video and software store. It's a music visualisation machine. It manages my iPhone data. Thats what annoys me. I dont want another program that tries to do everything. I want it to play music and put stuff on my ipod (preferably skipping the putting-stuff-on-the-ipod part, but if apple feel it necessary to make the whole lot proprietary so be it.) I think im still in the 'how wasteful' stage of program appreciation, perhaps with time (and a hefty hard drive hooked up to unlimited internet access and a processor to match) i'll come to appreciate bulky programs that duplicate functionality of all the other bulky programs inhabiting my computer

My wrist hurts just looking at it. Should be 360° rotation, maybe then.

Thanks, Rich. I'm on a slow connection (550kbps) so I use this add-on to download HD videos instead of suffering the pain of watching them load in the player: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10137

Hm... Interesting - thanks. It crashed my FF twice when I wanted to set it to capture the FF window only (with no full screen).

Hi Jeff, I don't live near Cannes now - but spent part of a year in school (University of Illinois) in a little town 7K. west along the coast road called LaNapoule. It was a long time ago, went back to visit 10 years ago and nothing changed in the town but the have a huge harbor now. Kind of disturbed the peacefull character of the area but still beautiful. Attached is a phot of two of the attractions in LaNapoule from my school days. One is Dominique, who by now is middle aged and maybe not such a hippie and the other - unchanged as of my 10 years ago visit is the Henry Clews castle, where our foreign studies program for the U of I was stationed for a few years. (Now they're in Paris). From Cannes you are close to everything by bus, train and plane. There is the main street in Cannes - Boulvevard de la Croisette that follows the coast line- called N98 out of town - (the scenic route to LaNapoule and to Nice by the way) where you can enjoy the sandy, topless beaches and see the Palas des Festivals where they have the film festival in May. It is a real zoo down there in May. A few K's east is Nice, a big college town with lots to do but with rocky beaches. A bit further east is Monaco which is a must see. Up in the hills all along the coast are perfume makers, art colonies and galleries. Lot of French Impressionist history. Heading west from Cannes are a lot of interesting small towns including LaNapoule, further out- not exactly local - Saint Tropez (I think current home of Brigitte Bardot) and major port cities like Toulon and Marseille-( see Corbusiers Unite). By the way, as I remember on of our forum members Fymoro, has French Riviera down as his location - might give him a pm? Anyway - have a great trip, hard not to. Share some photos when you get back I'd love to see them. [image: UCVX_LaNapoule-Dominique.jpg]

60% of households to have 3D displays? I've heard that we're all going to have 3D displays for years now, and there's nothing even at the top level of the end-user pipeline that even remotely suggests that we're going to have 3D displays. All the same, neat device; but I think the mouse is going to be here for a lot longer befire something else takes it's place.
