Hi Rich, Thanks for your tip. But here I am a bit old fashioned. I prefer here a Word table, printed and filed. Charly

I guess it can not be done due to security reasons. It's not a big deal since I can open the bookmark as a Sidebar in FF, I just thought I could simulate the Sidebar across different browsers.

I didn't mean to sound like I was dissing your suggestion. Even though I act the class clown on this forum I am so appreciative of all the great suggestions and advice on my behalf. No worries. I know they aren't cheap. Still it is a cool thing @bob james said: Not counting the Cintiq 21UX, does a pen/tablet provide any advantages in general SU work? Bob, as well as the Cintiq, I also have an Intuous4 tablet. Although you can work SU with it, I found I didn't like it as well as the mouse. Perhaps some of that comes from use. I'm a lefty with a pen although I use the mouse right handed. I found it awkward to draw in SketchUp with the pen/tablet. It is much easier for me on the Cintiq because I'm able to look at where I'm pointing but I still don't find it comfortable. There are some folks who do use a tablet with SketchUp and like it. You might, too.

Must be utterly awesome to see the galaxy edge-on like that. The Milky Way that we see in the Northern hemisphere just isn't in the same league.

Dunno. But as Alan points out, this wasn't a crime to begin with. I'd not be dancing with joy if a kid put a ball trough one of our windows, but I certainly wouldn't call the police. (And what were they thinking?!) If people cannot work these sort of incidents out amongst themselves, something's wrong.

@unknownuser said: iPhone4 users! What do you think of the Hipoflex? nah.. that thing needs to be better incorporated into the phone's design.. at the very least, you should be able to put it in your pocket while attached to the phone.. otherwise, you're taking it off an putting two things in your pocket in which case, i'd rather have a mini-tripod as it's more flexible for photo work.. (ie- so you set the hippoflex on a table to shoot a video but you need to pan down a few inches.. then what?)

Anouk is not the only dutch singer in the list. The total list of 10 best selling albums have 6 items from the Netherlands. I think is a way the dutch people will show the world where individual people, and we don't follow other people or country's. Whe have our own opinion and we show that to everyone who wants to hear

Made it back --- Great convention. Learned some things; bought some things; great tastes; great sights, great music. No flooding! The levys held and the pumps are working. Visited the Google booth and had an informative chat with Chris Cronin and others about Layout3. Quite a few impressive construction document sets on display. Right across the aisle was Shaderlight. Daniel Tal was there making notes and giving tips. He is writing a new book on the renderer. After seeing the demos' and talking with Daniel, I decided to pick up a copy (at expo discount) I will post something as soon as I get a chance. Attached are a few of the 1500 photos we shot during the week in NOLA. I like that MSE is actually finding some viri on my machine. e.g. MyDoom which was sent to me in an email at an attachment with the suspicious name of "renderplus.com.zip". (AVG hadn't reported any viri for a long time) Unfortunately I had already deleted the email, (without knowing it had a virus attached), so I don't know who tried to send it. @unknownuser said: What is the plural of virus? This neuter in Latin lacked a plural; it would presumably have been virora like corpora, the plural of neuter corpus. (corpi would be as outlandish--as far beyond the pale--as rhinoceri and octopi.)

@tim said: If you haven't already done so, pop over to the FineHomeBuilding website and do some reading over there. Lots of good stuff. There is an FHB related site: http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/book/export/html/14955 http://www.finehomebuilding.com/PDF/Free/021189072.pdf http://forums.finehomebuilding.com/breaktime/energy-heating-insulation/spray-foam-insulation-8 There are different solutions depending on climate. It does make a very tight house which is a very good thing but does require proper detailing and the aforementioned air exchange solution. If you can afford it, it is the best insulation, it does require different approaches and solutions to ensure you don't have problems down the road. (this is also true of every other type of insulation) With the metal roof you will likely not have to worry about roof issues but I would want to have an air gap for ventilation to reduce the amount of heat transferred to the structure. There are many ways of achieving this either by adding a second layer of sheathing with a spacer to create air channels or by the traditional chutes on the underside and then spray foam over them. Creating a complete envelope and having the entire HVAC system in the conditioned space will ensure better efficiency and the sealing and insulation values you can achieve will offset any increase in the volume of the conditioned space.
