I have posted all the submissions (still anonymously) in The Daily CatchUp today so people can at least have some clue.

@unknownuser said: Cool for this old challenge Great link! But if by speed they meant "days" instead of minutes, then I would have had a shot.

Hi Guys I'm part of the team developing Shaderlight so it's great to hear so many of you are giving the beta a try. As a beta, the software is not yet feature complete however the full release planned for later this year will contain more advanced lighting features as well as our trademark MELT functionality which lets you update certain scene parameters without restarting the render. The full spec can be found here: http://www.artvps.com/content/shaderlight/sketchup/technical-specifications If you do have any comments or suggestions, we'd love to hear them so we can feed them in to the development process. We look forward to hearing from you! Kate

I come back after a long break and I see one of my reasons to use sketchup! Love it guys! Shame I can't get S&S (I need to upgrade my system). Imagine if these where actually in a game...

Nice work, I hope 10.5 hrs of wages equate to something reasonable for you.

I've never heard of them, but a quick search shows they have an office not far from me here in Houston. What a strange coincidence!

" Here is a bedroom that I modelled with sketchup The furniture is from 3ds My render engine is Twilight Render Preset 09 rendered in 2 hrs 16 mins" I think that is the translation - and I didnt even use Google language tools!!! Looks good Ramy - slightly grainy but gives a vewry good idea of what the room looks like. Field of View might be slightly large aswell. Well Done

Pixero, You could just export some cubemaps from LightUp at key locations and use GoCubic to create Flash based viewers. Or I use Panoviewer. Magenta p v2, Green TL, Blue p v1. lol Most of the magenta problem comes from environment colours though. The PP method is not the best as we're loosing dynamics. Even using hdr 32 bit exports. This podium kray engine produces impressive dynamic lighting. May be a winner on this. 7 min using blurred reflections on windows is not so bad. p v1.7x render times (noisy_preset) are similar. My problem with this P v2 beta is on reflections so far, I need to create a specular effect. I mean, I need to change the gamma of reflection. But how?
