@bryan k said: It may be "just a little TV shelf" but I like the technique. Tutorials? Now you've done it! (I'm still learning, but the more experienced here will direct you to some of the best there is) Thanks Bryan K This is the link to the tutorial I used if you were interested. http://www.sketchupartists.org/tutorials/sketchup-and-photoshop/soft-colored-pencil-line-technique/ I changed mine up here and there but I still think it done ok.

Hello Alexander. I'm using V-ray. As you say it's such a shame that money motivation has replaced pride and craftsmanship!! I can't ever see that trend reversing. John

How about you start trying to model it then start asking questions in either the SketchUp or Newbie forums when you get stuck. You might be surprised at your skill and at what you can quickly learn.

2 more images, the second is a part post processed maxwell image, based on the villa model previously uploaded by Hieru. Rich ,currently I have a demo version of Thea.I had access to the full version a few months ago but the company I was doing work for at the time are no longer in business. From what I see of thea it looks great but as I have already purchased vray, twilight and maxwell I am not in a position to purchase thea (as of yet).Currently I'm just playing around with different presentation styles/lighting moods. The method for the polaroid images is quite simple, overlay an orange/brown colour, add motion blur, add gaussian blur, add foreground elements and a vignete and thats it. [image: 3O3H_Steel_Close-in_Final.png]Thanks guys for the comments. I work for a construction firm and we use images like this in our presentations to the potential client. This is the last in a series of construction images and it shows final completion. We add people in our construction scenes but I hadn't thought about adding them in the final image. We use scenes to show the different phases of construction so our guys can talk to it and explain our way of doing things. I used to use twilight and do from time to time when I have the time but lately it is really quick that these need to go out. We not trying to sell the design but our way of construction.

I like Roger's version with more light. It's sunny outside and brighter inside and overall make me feel more cheerful. The nymph ....

The new one is awesome. Great work. Especially on the roof. My critique would be the crop on the image is a little tight. Open up the view of the patio a little to add more of a "welcome to my backyard" feel.
