Mainly, I want to make a walkthrough, but preferably more sophisticated.
Antics3d were exactly what I was looking for, or so I thought, until I realized that I would have to redo all the floors, stairs (which are only one height, no spirals...) doors etc.
I dont know if such a thing exist, the only way t find out is a place like here.
The problem with Proper Animation is (I havent used it, by I'd imagine) that you have to manually place everything in all the positions. However, to make e.g. a person walking, (another thing I'm looking for, a program specialised in people modeling, and works with SU), it would be almost impossible.

Does annyone know of any animation programs which work with SU (free, preferably)? The easier (and cheaper) the better, obviously, but I havent found any so far

i used to have it, but with updates on SU6, it seems to have disappeared. anyone else had this? or know why?

i didnt see any wishes for it, but i have a few:

1. tape measure tool (though obviously not to resize)
2. the dimensions tool
3. possibly even scenes window
4. ability to send it as a .zip etc. attachment in emails.

p.s. anyone have any idea when SU7 will come out?

I think it would be useful if SU was able to record your movements. I find that scenes are very annoying, especialy if you are doinf=g a walk-thru...
It could be that there is such a plugin, (there is SU animate, but that makes scenes, which slows it down...) so if anyone knows of such a thing,i would appreciate it.

it would be useful if the walk tool would show a mark on the ground where it is.

i didnt notice in the prefrences the option of explode to put a shortcut. can you tell me where on that list it is please?

on thaty note it would be useful if there was a shortcut to explode a group, and another to open it also

i wish those things were abolished!!!! whats the $&+* is the point of them anyway? anyone know?

i actually meant perhaps keeping orbit, but adding these tools.

i think it would be much better if orbit was split into 2 tools-to spin vertically and one to spin horizontally, and there would be the option of manually placing the center of the orbit.

if you make a component you have the option of auto-cut. this is so that you can make one surface on another surface without having z-faces (i think thats what its called) that the faces change textures. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. can anyone help?

i wish sketchup had more toggle keys: e.g. select ctrl, shift, and ctrl would be toggle keys, and in scale, shift and ctrl would be toggle.
