awsome plug, thankyou.
one suggestion, if i may, would be that the SP inspector window not open automatically every time i start SK or start a new file.
thanks again for a fun plugin

I've been waiting for this since the first time I used sketckup!!!!!!!
THANKYOU
if i had 1 request it would be for equations eg. dim1=dim2/2 or dim1=dim2+dim3*2 etc... although the dimensions would need to be named for this to be possible; but then it would truly be THE #1 architectural/design plugin for Sketchup!!
deleted file and downloaded again, i still get "can't open file as archive message" from 7zip and zip file corrupt message from winrar??????????
i used bitcomet with 10 connections and finally got it downloaded now when i try to extract it the .zip file is corrupt?????????
sure would be nice if i could get past 100k of the 40 meg download??
looks like a great prog. but please fix the download link i've tried about 20 times now and can't get more than 100k or so of the file then it pauses and times out?
i would like to see an option in SP to be able to collapse a scene ie. pause a simulation half way through an then collapse it so that it becomes the new state of the SK file not the paused state of a simulation (frozen in time). make sense?
what does everyone think?
is it possible to have an alert popup with a link in it?
is there or would someone create a plug to activate onclick functions in DCs the whole time a file is opened this way we could have real time animations going on like flashing (ie:http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=16233), moving ... without the need to keep clicking things.
it would need timing settings for how often to create the onclick event, and maybe a list of DCs in the file with checkboxes for which one(s) to effect.
would it be possible to run a snippet of ruby code through the onclick function? that would be great.
also a mouseover addition would be great too.
could i use this
@unknownuser said:
CURRENT("attributeName")
to get the scene name, and if so put it in a variable then return to it with gotoscene?
if so how?
this is what i have, but of course my scenes are scene1 and scene2 and it just snaps from 1 to the next.
GOTOSCENE("Scene"&snum,time,easein,easeout);animatecustom("scnum",timescene,easein,easeout,1,2);animatecustom("animator",timecolor,easein,easeout,-255,255);
great thread guys,
i think it should be mentioned #1 though for newbs like myself to click the toggle formula view be cause i was really banging my head till i did that.
Anyway, I'm trying to modify the glow button DC so that as it glows it changes scenes to a closeup then changes back to its original scene after it fades. the problem is i want to have multiple scenes and i want it to go back to where it started from.
heres the scenario: i have a building layout with multiple views and as one is going through the scenes and clicks on (for example) an electrical plug ,you are moved to a scene for the electrical and all the wires glow say for 5 seconds then returned to where you where. sound possible?
has anyone ever used this http://www.hypercosm.com/products/teleporter/sketchup/pro/index.html
it seems to be pretty slick?
use this http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=6708&hilit=JointPushPull with the vector extrude option
could one not communicate directly with the VCB, updating the dimension from there and visee versee?
i think it would be great (not that its not great already, but greater yet) if we could have just one SCF Toolbar & then pick and choose which ruby's we want in it, like a visual plugin bar that could be customized with any of the tools from your series of toolbars (mix and match).
any chance of this?
