Have had a look at the HP OfficeJet K850, looks the ticket for me.

Hey guys, my Printer $Censored to protect your privacy#% itself over the weekend. Not bad for 6 years of service.....

What do you recommend in the way of an A3 printer? mostly for CAD / illustration output. Have had a HP 1125C Deskjet which has served me well.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Cheers Gully where does Alt print screen go when executed? did not work for me.....

thanks all, I am on PC and am aware of the print screen key but it seems the long way around. i have tried Gaieus's recom, aviscreen and it is a little beauty!!! real easy to operate.
Stu i do have PDFcreator but was unaware that it would export to jpeg, only.... you know PDF!!!

I sing for the GIMP and Faststone, both clever little buggers and very Free!! Faststone has sone neat frame masks and the GIMP, well not much different to the Adobe monster.....

IrfanView is great as a straight image editor so maybe download all and have a play, see what works!!

My mother-in-law has done somethign similar and have lost about 14 kilos [30-odd pound] and she looks and feels great!!
