      I gave the wall some white paint over plaster and a simple marble skirting.
      Then i put some flame in the fireplace. I followed a tutorial by Nomer Adona.

      I adjusted the camera settings and open up a bit on shutter speed to make the render lighter.

      Hi!

      This is my first time to post here...

      I'm posting an experimental project I am doing. This just for me to explore v-ray materials.

      The chair, bookcase, and books came from the 3d warehouse. i have modeled the flat and the images for the materials (bricks, concrete, and wood plank) came from the internet.

      here are some quick renders I tried to see how the bump and displacement works. the bump and displacement maps were created using photoshop using the same images.
