      Hi!

This is my first time to post here...

I'm posting an experimental project I am doing. This just for me to explore v-ray materials.

The chair, bookcase, and books came from the 3d warehouse. i have modeled the flat and the images for the materials (bricks, concrete, and wood plank) came from the internet.

here are some quick renders I tried to see how the bump and displacement works. the bump and displacement maps were created using photoshop using the same images.

I'll try to regularly update this post with progress from this project.

      Thanks!

I gave the wall some white paint over plaster and a simple marble skirting.
Then i put some flame in the fireplace. I followed a tutorial by Nomer Adona.

I adjusted the camera settings and open up a bit on shutter speed to make the render lighter.

looking good. much too neat to be a bachelor pad, though.

Thanks Daniel... have not spend much time in it yet... it will be messy in a while!

well an updated for now... I put up an artwork on the wall.

Credits to the original owner of the photo. I'll research your name later!

looking good. Like the art work. But, where's the 60" flat screen TV. Geesh, get your priorities straight!

That is one cool art/lighting concept design.
