I gave the wall some white paint over plaster and a simple marble skirting.
Then i put some flame in the fireplace. I followed a tutorial by Nomer Adona.I adjusted the camera settings and open up a bit on shutter speed to make the render lighter.

Hi!
This is my first time to post here...
I'm posting an experimental project I am doing. This just for me to explore v-ray materials.
The chair, bookcase, and books came from the 3d warehouse. i have modeled the flat and the images for the materials (bricks, concrete, and wood plank) came from the internet.
here are some quick renders I tried to see how the bump and displacement works. the bump and displacement maps were created using photoshop using the same images.
I'll try to regularly update this post with progress from this project.

I have tried this and it is great way to generate a presentation from the 3d drawings!
