I agree that is one thing that has seemed to be left in the old forum and the request that are more recent are real cries for help and not laziness.
But it is something that needs to be considered when spending time modelling.

Friends, Countrymen, Modellers,
Do you sometimes get the feeling that some people only post 'how do I model....?' posts just so they don't have to model it themselves?
This isn't specific dig at anybody because there are genuine people who need help, but I sometimes get the feeling that it would be better to post jpgs instead of models.
Anybody else have the same uneasy feeling?

Does fire qualify as an invention? Or is it really a discovery? It does occur naturally, after all.
Yes. . .Yes it does. I invented it.
I believe Chuck Norris invented Fire
Here you go, I found this a year or two back on the warehouse. Still looking for an chance to sneak it into a model.
Enjoy
Granted, but now Chuck Norris has decided that only he can do clean installs and has roundhoused you computer.
I wish that I wouldn't get sucked into this game again (Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
Fi,
I understand what you want to do; I'm just not sure sketch up is the right programme to use. It is a great tool for creating the components and for you as a designer it is ideal. I think the best bet is to find a software company that will be able to produce what you are after, and then you could load the programme onto your website and also send it out in marketing packages as a reason to use your company. A sort of ‘design your own equipment’ type of approach to your products and if you pitch it right to the boss, I think it be a great selling tool.
Sorry I could be more helpful.
I remeber there was a script lurking somewhere like Smustard that allowed to to do it but i can't remember what is was called.
Also there was a dicussion on this that lead to the script
sorry I couldn't be more helpful
I think your problem is as I understand it.
The Windowiser ruby changes a section of a face into a component window. When you create the window externally of a group/component the face is repeated and therefore causing the conflict. (I Think)
If you create the window in the group/component then it should solve the problem
(PS. I hope someone who knows more will correct my mistakes.)
Thanks for your comments

Is this a manned or un-manned facility. If manned, are you going to include office space and rest and recreation areas for facility staff.
The client requested that the office be inclueded in the main building

What about an information centre so that people can see what is happening to their rubbish, pick up leaflets etc.
the education centre is a block tuck into the corner of the site. (its the building in the background of the first image.)
This was posted by solo on the Joint Push Pull thread in the ruby forum http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=6713&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30
It scared me enough to run and cry in a corner.

I am sure they are actually, SU has been eating into their CAD business for some time, if Google did not buy SU from @last, I am sure they would have sooner or later.
Even though we sometimes moan at Google, we forget it could be much worse!
I have just found a great site for brick pattern where you can a choice on what colour mortar.
http://www.baggeridge.co.uk/brick_range.htm
Just select the brick type (view range), this open a new window and the there is a box that has change motar colour.
I have just used this Ruby to create a lavender hedge on to of contour grass mounds.
It has saved me days (well maybe hours) in time.
Thanks Mate

Granted but now you have too much time and you end up modelling the exact replica of a Ford Focus gear box and drive train.
I wish that the sea badgers would concentrate on their real target the multi-hat purveyor - Daniel
Granted but because of the whizzy banginess of your new computer you can only play the new Dora the Explorer E-Learning game.
I wish that the ones in charge let do a 3Dviz course
Make faces is one of the best free ruby's out there.
Also good CAD drawing practices will help.
Stuff like snaping to endpoints, closing polyline areas etc
Granted but now you open a restaurant, that through no fault of yours, is losing money and you have to call in Chef Ramsey
I wish that more people would get involved in this thread
This is a mesh created by sandbox. The tool creates the contours as a component.
Dr. Bernard Hagan.....
Who having been foiled in his plan to magnetise all penguins, has developed a new species of badger. The sea badgers are slowly tracking down Dr. Hagan's former assistant and straw hat wearing Architect Daniel.
