I'm using Sketchup 8.

I am trying to drape two simple curved lines onto a simple curved surface. Sketchup will not allow it. Can anyone please tell me why?

A two-part question:

About the "edges by face" and "edges by faces" tools. Is it possible to specify which point on the face(s) the edge endpoint aligns with? E.g. can you start the extrusion from the one of the pointed tips of a star-shape instead of the centre of the centre of the face?

About the "edges by faces" tool. Is it possible to specify which endpoints on the starting face align/match-up with which endpoints on the ending face?

I hope these questions make sense. I've attached an image to show what I mean. Shape (A) was produced using the tool. Shape (B) I did manually by choosing which endpoints are matched and then using a curve-stitching tool.

I take that back. It worked for a few seconds.

I have now solved the problem. You were right TIG. I have the NoScript plugin installed. I had to instruct it to allow buysellads.

Thanks for the suggestion TIG. Strangley (or maybe, as per usual with puters) a reboot fixed everything. I happily view sketchucation now.

Hi,

I normally use Firefox for browsing. I have logged in before and been able to see everything as I had an exception set up on Adblock to allow all content from Sketchucation, but now the site will not allow me to view all the content and keeps telling me to "disable adblocking addons". I have completely disabled Adblock, but still no joy. I have tried logging in with Chrome, which has no adblocking addon, and still I get the "disable adblocking addons" message.

Am I missing something?
