Solved: Help with drape please

Hi,
I'm using Sketchup 8.
I am trying to drape two simple curved lines onto a simple curved surface. Sketchup will not allow it. Can anyone please tell me why?
I have attached the file.

Try scaling your model up by a factor of 100 or 1000 before draping.
