Looks cool Eric. Makes me want to start using Podium again, for some reason or another I have not been doing any work that inspires me to "Podiumize" it.

RE: World Baseball Village, Bird's Eye View
Hey thanks Eric! Those little "Stadium People" are great. I believe they would definitely work for this Bird's Eye View.
That is some good info on the Q-Tip people, I'll have to remember that. As for now, I'm going to give the "Stadium People" a go.

RE: World Baseball Village, Bird's Eye View
I agree with you Wyatt, the bleachers do need people in them. I never had time to figure out how to quickly place people on the bleachers. As for the lights, I believe there were supposed to be more lights in the locations shown below. Hummmm, oops!
Client may have caught it, he just never had time to tell me.

RE: World Baseball Village, Bird's Eye View
Thank you for the compliments. Yes I did use Sketchup, then Piranesi for the trees, people and some lighting, then into Photoshop for some other little touches, dodge & burn type stuff. It was done pretty quickly and I never really had a chance to do the step away and return with a better perspective routine.
Oh ya, the sun was turned on but I turned off the shadows on faces and on ground.

World Baseball Village, Bird's Eye View
Once again I had to revisit this project, this will be the 5th time I believe. Client had changed the softball plan and needed another Bird's Eye View at dusk, and needed it done in a couple of days. So I pumped this rendering out and then decided to add fireworks to throw a bit more excitement into the image. I'm curious what you all think of the added fireworks, like it better with, or without the fireworks?

RE: Beach Hut
Those are very cute little huts, nice job. You have done a great job with the rendering also, you have definitely portrayed a "mood".

Simple House Model & Animation
I posted some work I had done last year that I had forgotten about. Nothing special, just a house that someone wanted to model so that they then could start running through the various renovation schemes they had in mind. You can fin it here. I also did an animation with a style on, well, just because I have never done that before. I used Pro 7, the animation seems to be working well so far and I believe its a lot faster.

RE: Component Window...No Back & Forward Arrows V.7
Hey Phil, I did notice the history in the pull-down and so have started using that. It's always interesting to happen upon the little things that change when a software program has released a new version.

RE: Component Window...No Back & Forward Arrows V.7
I also used them all the time. It's not a huge deal to adjust to, but it's also not a huge deal to leave them. Oh well!

Component Window...No Back & Forward Arrows V.7
Has anyone else noticed that version 7's component window does not have Back & Forward arrows, drives me crazy. Styles & Material windows do have the arrows. Frustrating!

RE: My working methods - WIP with pics.
This is really cool stuff Andy. I could use some more info, keep it coming.

RE: Your house
I modeled my house a few years ago and thought I would pull it back out. I did use printed plans so it's pretty much my house as it sits today, landscape and all, well, what little landscaping I have done anyway.

RE: Coming Soon:Profile Builder
That is some fantastic work Dale! This brings back the same, if not more, excitement than when I made my first model in Sketchup. I now have something to look forward to, my Sketchup fire has dwindled lately, it's now burning pretty hot and bright with this new script.

Go to Model Info, under window, and then Animation, scene delay.

RE: Online payment systems
PayPal is pretty slick these days. I have sent money and have had people purchase with credit cards. Very easy to use just make sure your login and password are good.

RE: [Plugin] Smoothstep Animation
Nice! I did a really quick test and it seems to work pretty good. I used Quicktime to create the image sequence.

RE: Graphic Card...Again
Well, it sure has been interesting upgrading my graphic card. Not only did I upgrade my graphic card I bought an entirely new computer. I ended up getting a GeForce 8800 Ultra and could not get it to work in my existing machine, tried everything. So I decided to buy all new parts, I purchased these parts for a machine and the 8800 Ultra. So far this baby rips. I'm running XP Pro. Sketchup is fantastic on this machine I would not change a thing. Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone.
