I find moving things SU wants to keep the object in the same plane but if if you copy it instead it seems more flexible on where you move it to...then just delete the extra copy.

I've used Selection Toys for a while (new V2.2 is out, which I have not yet installed) I keep "Entity Info" dialog open at all times in the upper right of screen. ABOVE it is a simple Selection Toys toolbar, where I have just a few icons I use the most, that is: Select Lines, Faces, Groups, Components, Hidden, Soft, Smooth, as well as deselect same list.

You can also draw a rectangle and its diagonal then array it (Move + Copy) use the Sandbox tool for subdivise it then Smove tool for make some crazzy surface Color by Z By Chris Fullmer [image: vqgS_subdi.jpg]

I use http://www.screenr.com/ to make vids, but any screen grab tool will do. Very easy if you have a youtube account, they can be embedded in posts.

Box, I'm so glad i joined in on this thread, I had given up on orbiting with the MMB, but after talking with you and trying different approaches, I finally got the right one, and IT WORKS, I'm orbiting with MMB. Thanks box, thanks all. In case it might help someone else, the mouse is Logitech model MX310(an old one), go to Start, control panel, mouse properties,set point settings, select button, select middle button, set task to "other", when prompt comes up, select middle button.
