I like the interior scenes lighting, the doorway textures could use some work though.

If I may. . .
The fact that you are doing it as a side job or as a hobby means you should be charging more not less. YOu can pick and choose what projects you take on.
Even still, don't debase yourself or the profession. People will value you only if you value yourself. Provide a good product, Charge a fair rate based on the market and the clients will come.

ps. keep the Peed on Stuff at the back of the portfolio.
Thanks for the advice David.

Have you got any examples of previous work? I think it's unlikely people will trust you with work without some example work.
Most of the drafting work I have done has been for numerous patents. I am not allowed to show the drafts of these inventions, but here are some basic overviews:
-Lasers for a Japanese laser company
-Hummers equipped with special advertising displays
-A sticker that can change color when peed on.
-some work with architecture -

Ah, what the hell, I'll lift the lid on Pandora's box a little wider...
Smokin: can I ask why for free? Given what you say, you seem to have some experience. Patent drawings are quite a specialised field, and I'm sure people would be prepared to pay for them...?
A.
I enjoy my job very much, and when I do charge a fee for my services, the fee is usually extremely cheap. As I said before this is not my main line of work so I do not need to charge extreme prices. I will probably do only a couple free jobs per person, and if the really like my work and agree to pay me, that would be fine. My fees are usually very cheap, for patent figures I usually charge 25 dollars, only a fraction of a normal draftsmen.

Looking for Something to Do
Hi, I currently have a small business for Drafting. It is not my main form of work, but more of a hobby. I have experience in many types of 3d modeling, and am offering my services for free. I will be able to help in most anything you need, such as modeling or rendering. If you need my help, please email me at smokinbakin (=at=) gmail (=dot=) com. I will review your request and determine if I can do it.

Thanks for the comment, that website looks great.

Old Stone Highway in East Hampton New York
This house is located in East Hampton New York. It is a "green" house, designed by berg Architects. I have modeled most of it, but my final renderings are not great. I have attached the sketchup file for anyone to render or experiment with. All renders on this page were rendered in V-ray.

Hi Yogo,
Nice renders. Are those blue lights "fake emitters"in Kerky?
The Lights are bluish mesh lights.

Interesting design but it is not very bright for a lamp.
It is for the future. The human eye has evolved so that it doesn't require the bright lights we need now.
The light is there, it is right around the circle.
