I totally agree with line dimension control. I have a lot of problems with that, even when I'm just creating a model. It does seems to long. The scrapbook schedule does seem like a good idea, but I think you can already do something like that? I think it's somewhere under View.

RE: Some guide point cloud
That mesh looks really good. Even with a lot less guide points. And hey, you didn't even have to bang your head against the wall. Man, 400,000+ points. That makes my head hurt.

RE: Do Mac's still have any solid graphical advantage over PC's?
Out of the box? Yes, of course. A Mac is designed for an artist. So, yeah, if you're not into buying your own tower, then a Mac is a solid choice. But if you are into building (or know someone ), then the PC will always blow a Mac away. End of story.

RE: Google Earth 6 released
Typically Google is populating the most populated / popular areas before they worry about the us of us. I'm not grumpy--I remember when my location on the make was a 2-D view of generic streets. That was a while back, though. The historical sites do excite me. Good stuff.

From the States
Hey everyone,
Love the design of the site. Especially some of the buttons! I'm Shale. I use SketchUp mainly for cool image rendering and things for games. I'm a part-timer. My full time job is teaching in the States. I'm here to learn more about the technology and techniques of SketchUp.
Thanks for having me.
