just wondering for what this is required.

It's not exporting faces though... Has anyone seen a plugin that can do that?
not a plugin and not for free:

This works for me on...
Windows 7 x64 w/ recent SUP 2017 M2 x64 too, besides groups/components which needed to be exploded.
3D Warehouse was down because of issues with the Amazon Web Services but should be back after restarting now:

I want to be able to export to SVG with colors....
as a work-around you can export to a 2D-PDF and convert to a SVG with the free Inkscape graphics program, dunno if a color gradient will make it threw.
Alternatively you may want evaluate the commercial SVGmaker for printing from inside SU to a SVG file.

Spanish OS, Spanish keyboard layout. Decimal separator set to comma in the OS (by the default).
works flawless here (Win/Keyboard: German) already with older SU versions (Windows locale separators: decimal = comma / list = semicolon / numerical keypad: comma).
What is the decimal separator of a Spanish keypad and what is shown in SU if using it?

I completely forgot that sometimes a 'downgrade' may be helpful and manufacturer-customized drivers may make sense.
they may not make sense but always do make sense, not because of the older driver version but because of the customizations made by the notebook maker concerning thermal design and power consumption etc. of the respective hardware.
appears to be something wrong with your model... did other (simple sample) models work?
run ThomThoms "CleanUp³" Plugin to fix common issues.

I haven't done any of the financial activities as far as the eps or pdf outputs of sketchup are concerned. The output is taken from a software called Adobe Illustrator.
everything created with SketchUp, regardless if further processed with another application, is bound to the license terms agreed by you, transfering to another application for the final, commercially used export is obviously a commercial usage too

Sketchup Make 2016 (64-bit), SketchUp Make 2015 (64-bit)...
don't use the native nVidia driver but always do prefer an available (regularly customized) graphics driver of the notebook maker instead.
do a clean install:
always connect to AC for evaluating performance issues.

...and reinstalled the audio drivers.
don't install but disable and uninstall instead for resolving the likely cause of the issue.
disable the nVidia High Definition sound support from the Windows Device Manager and unistall from the Windows Software control panel, restart Windows after doing this.
btw, checking the Windows Event Viewer might ched some more light on issues happened.
no need to switch, get free VirtualBox plus a Windows license and you're done.
in connection with an integrated/shared (= lame) intel HD series graphics subsystem - which btw was never made nor thought to use with an OpenGL-based 3D modeler - a driver version higher than 10.18.10.4061 needs to be installed to run SU 2017, otherwise the required OpenGL functionality (as e.g. advanced transparency) is not available or faulty.
You may want check if your system is compatible with the new SketchUp 2017 CheckUp tool.
Check for the latest driver too by visiting the Dell support webpages resp. running the Dell System Detect support application. If no recent version avail you may also want to check if the recent orig. driver form intel can be installed... which often fails because of mods concerning power saving resp. heat emission made by the notebook maker.

explain ''latency'' please
lame.. jamming.. limping... i.e. doesn't respond fast enough to the SU file saving routine, to fix save local and drop it to the cloud folder then.
probably not with the mobile viewers but maybe with a future release of the my.SketchUp.com browser version (currently WIP).
