i've benn using sketch up 6 in my office desktop and wanted to use in my laoptop as well. i downloaded the file but i could not install it in my laptop. The information i get is " THE PUBLISHER CAN NOT BE VERIFIED." and then i cannot run the program.

My laptop is Compaq Intel Centrino Duo 1.87GHZ,1014 RAM. 120 GB HD

dont know whats wrong,pls help me. i wanted to try podium in my laptop .

Although i use sketchup on a regular basis but have not used much of layout. I m trying to make a portfolio of my works on layout . is it possible?? i m not aphotoshop user so though of trying layout. can i see any examples if possible ..please help..

ya i agree with you ... but there's a problem even if u group objects...there will be a line ( darker one) between two grouped objects... isn't it??

thanks for the suggestion... i m gonna try this for my nect model.. i also hate the fact that in sketchup a line gets common even if they are made in two layers...unless one of them is grouped...so whenever i hide one adjacent layer then the common line between them vanishes as well.. have any idea how to overcome this??

i try to work with layers all the time. But as skecthup has no specific colors that indicate which layer i m working on, i many times end up mixing layers. Eg. i use furniture layers while making wall or vice versa. so i wish that if i am working on layer "wall" and if i use pen or any other command onsomething on layer "pillar", some alert may be useful.or any other good ideas
