I got the plugin to work in sketchup 2015 at last. The problem I found is that for the ivy to work, the faces of the surface where you want it to grow have to be oriented correctly. It will not work if you try it on a reversed face. I hope this help other users as well. Once again many thanks to those involved in its development.

RE: [Plugin] Sketchup Ivy
Sorry guys but I have the same problem, After selecting leaves in the tab it will not generate them in sketchup 2015. I have the latest version of the plugin too. I have also reset all the parameters to their default values as suggested by TIG.Any ideas?

RE: [Plugin] Model2GCode V0.5 - released 04.02.13
Hi Niccah
It looks like a very promising addition to sketchup. At the moment I have to convert all my models to DWG or DXF and pass it over to the CNC company so they can do the programming for the machine.I know nothing about g code so don't know how I could help you in developing it, but will keep a very close look on this post to see how its progress. Definitily very interested in this development.
Many thanks

RE: Help with plugin
Absolutely genius!!! Thank you Sdmitch you have saved me hours of boring work. It is better than I anticipated as this way I can split the file in manageable portions to do 10 or 20 at the time. Maybe you should post this in another place as I can see other people finding many uses for this script.
Much appreciated.

Hi Sdmitch
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I loaded the script in my sketchup plugin folder and it shows fine when I load sketchup but nothing happens when I import the file. Any clues?

My guess is you might want to commission someone for this. Generally folks here are trying to learn and help others with learning SketchUp; they make their bucks on the side. I understand your need and others may as well, though I personally would have to invest considerable time to learn how to help you (and have no time for it). Perhaps you want to learn SketchUp, more from the ground up rather than for just a one-off. Perhaps not. Good luck.

I think you misinterpreted completely my request. I have been using Sketchup for many years and consider myself and advanced user but unfortunately don't have the brains for getting into ruby scripting or programming like other very talented people in the forum that have provided so many excellent tools to make sketchup a decent 3d modelling software. All I wanted was to automate a process that is quite tedious otherwise, when you have many Skus. The reason I asked is because it could be useful to other people who work with products that they need displaying in a retail environment.
In any case I thank you for your reply

Help with plugin
Hello guys I need a plugin that would allow me to draw a series of boxes and convert them into components based on the fields contained in an excel or csv file. The file would have four fields:
1 description/item ( that would be used for component definition or name)and
2-Height
3-Width
4-Depth
for the box dimensionThis is to generate a catalogue of products (in my case they will be cigar boxes) that I can later apply textures to and use to do a shop planogram or to populate a cigar cabinet or walk-in humidor with products.
Perhaps a similar plugin is already available and someone can point me in the right direction so any help would be highly appreciated.
For a better understanding you can see our website: http://www.cigarsolutions.uk.com

RE: Help with wood material... need name in english...
The material you are looking for is the "RED OAK" which is native to US and South America and has a distinctive pink-redish colour I believe the botanical name is "QUERCUS LOBATAE" here is a link to a picture

Dear Chris, thank you very much for another wonderful utility. All your hard work is much appreciated by the sketchup community. The talent and commitment of people like you is what makes sketchup a decent modelling application. My respects!!!
