Hi, I have been trying to export just one of the pages of my multi page Layout set to DWG. I would like to export multi pages. ..Layout continues to crash without creating the DWG. @schaferron1 Hi Dave, I discovered how to purge, discovered how to determine what skp. file a viewport was linked to, thanks for your help!

@Dave-R Hi Dave, thanks for finding the extra skp. files. I have unlinked them and purged the references in document setup. The files continue to show up as embedded. How do I remove them all together or is that necessary? How do you purge the Default Tag Geometry and the components - tags - materials - styles? It looks like once I unlink the skp. files all of the viewports that were linked to that skp. file become blank. Is this to be expected? Is there a work around? How can I determine which viewports are linked to these purged unlinked skp. files?

My layout file viewports will become disabled, not updating, and they lose their styles. I am not sure why this is happening. I have uploaded the sketchup file and the Layout file to wetransfer. Help would be appreciated. https://we.tl/t-Jx0SiuTEhR

Somehow, my sketchup has removed my ability to single click groups. I have to drag over them to select them. I cannot explode the groups, I can just drap across them and they highlight - turn blue - but i cannot edit them, explode them or measure items within the group. I am sure this is just a setting, but I cannot find the setting. Thanks

I am adding wall sections to my set. On the plans I have a section detail marker for each wall section. How do I create an auto text that will generate the page number of the individual wall sections?

Thanks Dave! I think I need to go through a tutorial that explains the basics of tags and groups. I have never understood the sketchup tag - layer system. I do understand how to create groups, but components are still a bit of a mystery. If you have any tutorials that you can suggest that would be very appreciated.

I switched from 3D Max many years ago to sketchup so, some of that process + autocad process sticks with me.
