That looks awesome!
Thanks for your help, I'm relatively new to V-Ray for SU, so this will help with my experimenting
I googled how to make lights in Corel and found a pretty decent tutorial, so all smiles for the near future!

Those kind of lighting effects are really achieved with environment fog, which VR4SU doesn't currently support. The way I would do this is -
1 - Use Spotlights in your fixtures to generate the casted lighting you need
2 - In Photoshop, add the lighting fog effects with specialty brushes from the web. Experiment to get it just right. Very easy and flexible.
This video will be helpful

Is there another rendering plug-in that you could recommend to get this effect? Also, I cant seem to get spotlights to work, any tips??
EDIT:
I can only get the spot lights to shine straight down, can they not be put at an angle? -
Help needed for exterior stage renders!
Hi All
I am having a hard time acheiving any sort of result for exterior stage-type renders in V-ray and I'm getting quite frustrated
I would like to create something like the attached image, but I cannot get ANY type of light to show up no matter what I do.
Any advice will be appreciated!
This is what I want, but a bit more realistic (ie rendered in Vray)

RE: How to move lights away from the wall.
So I solved the second problem of the dark background by adjusting the BG Colour and intensity settings, but still stuck on the lights. The problem with creating an emmissive material and applying it to a tube shape is that you can see where the tube ends, and I would like the light to kind of fade away as in the image if possible..

How to move lights away from the wall.
Hi there.
I am fairly new to Vray for SU and am having trouble with the lights.
The first issue is that even though the lights are centered in the light fitting, the light renders as if it is against the wall (see image). The second is I cant get rid of the dark grey background unless I turn up the exposure on the camera, but this makes EVERYTHING over exposed (see the same image)
Thanks in advance for any advice!
