      Hi,

Thanks for the explanation/tutorial on how you achieved this DC. Makes for very interesting reading and deserves a bit more attention than it is currently getting.

I hope more users check this post out to see how much work goes into such a simple concept.

    • RE: Debug poor wireless signal

Few months back I had same issue with netgear router. Eventually discovered the cause. My neighbour decided to fit some heavy duty saws in his sheds. These saws caused an extra drain on power supply that resulted in our house been subjected to brown outs, flicking lights etc. These power fluctuation played havoc with router and any other low voltage items.

I'm not suggesting that's you're issue but when I saw post I felt compelled to share info. On a lighter note there is a video on YouTube that show free method of increasing wifi strenght using cardboard and tinfoil!

well i withdraw my critique and congratulate you on an excellent model.
Lots of intricate detail work around the fascias that deserve a mention.

      the render is impressive too.

      Hi,

Nice model and very nice render. My only critique is the roof, are those tiles or is it corrugated? If it is corrugated then i've just put my foot in it!! 😳

    • RE: Any screw tutorial?

      Hi Majid,

For me, what you're attempting is very difficult. You'll be tapering a set thread height at the top of the shank to nearly no thread at the bottom. Also you're attempting this on a tapering shank too.

This hurt even thinking about it πŸ˜•

Best of luck with it as it is an excellent modeling challenge. I'm also gonna try it over the next few days and see how things go.

    • RE: Any screw tutorial?

      Hi,

There's lots of tutorials out there regarding making screws but the problem using the tool is the twist that occurs to the thread as it spirals up (or down the shank)

Here's a start that gives reasonable results

      Hi,

Nice model, and the render is nice too. The tree at the far end looks out of place? Other than that it looks good to my untrained eye πŸ˜‰
