360 VRay Render, but need to match it with aerial/drone 360 image
I just discussed a new project with a potential client. Most of the goals are to make 360 renderings of a housing complex; exterior and interior. However, they would need 2 aerial 360 renderings too and they'll provide the drone footage.
First of all, I'm not sure if the aerial footage will be a regular aerial shot or it will be a 360 aerial image. If they give me a regular aerial shot, I can use the photo-match feature to match the Sketchup model with the aerial image.
However, because they wrote "Aerial Bird's Eye View Photo Montage - 2 Spots 360", I assumed that they would give me two 360 drone images and I needed to match the 3D models with those 360 images and generate 360 renderings from the same Bird's Eye View.
Is there anyone here who has experience with this style of rendering? If yes, what are the workflows?
**) I will share the drone image as soon as they provide to me

I was quite grumpy earlier.
Here is a very quick example of how a shape can be bent using Radial Bending. That's wonderful! I had FredoScale installed a year ago when I bought the Fredo6 Collection bundle. However, I haven't used this plugin a lot, and because of you, now I know that there are more possibilities with this plugin. THANK YOUUUU!!!

Times change.
In the past I would have given you a gif that showed you how to finish your project in less than 2min.
But then as an advanced user you should already know.
Your signature shows you are making money from this.
So, no.
But it is simple.I'm sorry if my profession has changed your mind. Yes, I'm making money from architectural works like this. But, due to my inability, urgency, or maybe Sketchup feature limitations, sometimes I also spent some to solved the problems.
So, my client asked me to create specific shapes for a table foot. Because I can't generate a precise model, I decided to buy Blender model from Turbosquid and use that as a shortcut. However, I came to this community to ask for better workflows in case I need to create similar objects using Sketchup in the future. As you can see in my initial post, I imported the model just to figure out how the geometry works.
I already got an insight from Rich O Brien. But, I would be thankful if you can share another method to create a similar object.

Most important part is a good 2d plan to work from. Then a firm grasp of native tools and finally extensions.
Curviloft and JPP would make light work generating mesh and volume. Your initial rails and profiles would need accurate drawings the create them from.
Thank you! So, the attached screenshot is a snapshot of a model that I bought from Turbosquid. Because I have a specific request from my client to create this type of table foot. To save some time, I bought the model and use that to finish the project yesterday.
However, in case I need this type of "wave" model in the future, I imported it to Sketchup just to figure out how the geometry works. And yes, I think creating good rails and generating surface using Curviloft is the best method. I'm just checking out if there are any other methods, especially to create precise rails.

Best workflow to create wave / ribbon table
Hi, all. I need some insights into the best workflows and plugins to create this type of object.

Why not use a texture and displacement?
I know textures and displacement map might works for rendering. But, in this case, I really need to create it as 3D model since the Sketchup model will be used for presentation as well. -
Best workflow to create weaved object
Hi all. I got a product (furniture) visualization project, but I can't find the most suitable workflow to create the 3D model. Basically, it's a weaving pattern. However, I'm not sure how to start and what plugins should I use. I went to 3DWarehouse and found a model with similar concept (attached). But still, if I need to make a new one, I don't know how to start the modeling in Sketchup. I hope someone can tell me the best workflows (including the plugins) to create this specific object.

Create a png file of the image with transparncy and map it to the sphere with a plugin, like sketch UV.
Thanks for your reply. Anyway, I am willing to create a solid object of the product. So there should be around 2cm thickness. Mapping the PNG graphic will works fine if I'll just do renderings of the product.
Is there any other ways to do that?

Create Cutting Pattern in Sphere
Hi Everyone!
I need someone who can guide me to produce 3D model of attached product (something like this).
Basically, by intersecting the pattern into sphere can solve the issue. But, I just need to know if there's a simple way to do create this kind of object.
Please let me know about what plugin(s) that should I use.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
