RE: SketchUp 2019 release
Can’t help but suspect the overhaul of the UI & wanted features will come, but will only be introduced after the subscription model is in full effect.
Seeing where SketchUp Classic pricing is located on there web page, like Autodesk, I think the permanent license will eventually be phased out.

Issue V-Ray update 3.60.03 Laubwerk plants rendering black
The new update for V-Ray 3.60.03 seems to be causing Laubwerk materials to render black,
other people have posted about this issue on the Chaos Group forums, not sure if this is a issued that have to be fixed on Lauberks end or Chaos, but it's currently making it impossible to finish up some of my renders.
July 28
Philip of Laubwerk has been working the Chaos Group and they have silently rolled out a hotfix replacing the current version 3.60.03 that now has the fix for the materials rendering black incorporated into it.
I've tested this and confirm the hotfix has resolved this issue
As of July 28, Chaos Group created a fix which is now included in update 3.60.03, all future downloads include this fix.

RE: Grass maxwell/ standalone ?
To get grass to show up in your renders, for the standalone plugin, you will need to start Maxwell Fire & go to Engine Settings and set Extensions to Enabled.

RE: Maxwell render RS for SketchUP
Ran into the same issue after installing, tried going back to a earlier version of Silverlight but to no avail.
But now there is a update to Maxwell Render, appears they have moved away from Silverlight & now supports Sketchup 2013.Here is the link to the Maxwell's website
