RE: I need VISOPTs
In your computer go to "Computer/Local Disk (C)/ProgramData/ASGvis/Options".
(Pressing Load from the render options window should open this automatically)
There are 16 different visopt including the studio settings you are looking for. Also check out EarthMover's thread:

VRay Memory Failure
Hi Guys,
My latest render has paused, the buffer screen gone blank and this message is repeating over and over with increasing numbers in the last two figures."Exception: Memory allocation failure; 1120000 bytes requested; 826809975 bytes already in heap; 4592472 bytes free heap space."
The only setting I changed from the previous successful render was the hdr file in the GI Skylight.
Any ideas what is happening and what I can do to fix?
I'm using the latest demo release.
Thanks

VRay Render Resume?
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if it's possible to stop/pause a render in VRay to resume at a later date?
My current render is half way through at ASGViz high quality settings (lots of lights) and after 12 hours I'm loath to cancel it. I know it's an astronomically long time but I really like the way it looks.
I'm using the current demo version.
Thanks,

RE: Animation Help
VirtualDub is also good at image to animation. It's free too.

RE: Vray for Sketchup - Materials
@unknownuser said:
Once you import that material it will also show up in the native Sketchup material editor
Thanks Scott,
a great tutorial.
I can't seem to find the material in the native editor though it shows in the render.
Any ideas?
Also do you know how to convert png's, jpg's etc into vismat files?
Thanks again

RE: Temporary Charity Shop
Thanks Ross,
The budget for this shop is "as cheap as possible". 'Makuti' thatch is made from coconut palm leaves and is as cheap as roof coverings come here. The whole construction should cost approx US$4,000.
The charity is called Love Shack as it cares for Sick, Homeless and Abandoned Children in Kenya.
The large sign on the wall is maybe not such a great idea, looking at it now I see what you mean about a sex shop. Don't want to get gimps and doggers in there do we? A small subtle sign by the door should suffice.I'll be sure to post the pics when the building is done.
Cheers,
Ed

RE: Image Shack now promoting Poker Parties
Great. I've just signed up to Imageshack and posted my first pics in the gallery with it.
Picassa you say...? -
Temporary Charity Shop
This is going to be built on an existing plinth in an old shopping centre in Nairobi (I say this to explain the funny colours/upstand beams in pics below). Unfortunately I have to keep the pink.

The roof thatch is Solo's (thanks Solo)
The Siding is Modelhead's (thanks Modelhead)This is very much a work in progress. I'm still working on adding the surroundings but I want to make sure I've got the building right first, i.e. transparency of the glass, adding knots to the timber siding, getting a jaggedy edge to the roof thatch and to bump map it properly (any ideas anyone?).
Please feel free to give criticism (constructive and insultive)
-Edit- I've just seen Modelhead's post in the corner bar regarding pop ups on Image shack. Bear with me while I get these pics on to a more suitable site

Hope your gland problem is sorted -
RE: Couple of Random Textures
More great work. I really like the dry stone wall textures.
Thanks again -
RE: Render Poll
I vote Indigo 'cos of its ease of use and value for money.
