Do those Mac things support that?

sorry, I can't help myself sometimes. I am not using double monitors (or a mac), but that doesnt much matter. Dual monitors are not officially supported in SketchUp, though many of the developers use them.

Not to worry Chris... one of these days you will be allowed to play with the grownup's toys.

      Hey guys,
I'm looking for a 'hub/switcher' type gizmo so I can use two monitors as one. Worktable on #1 and toolbars etc., on #2.
I have dual 22" monitors setup on my G5 right now and a single 22" external monitor on my MacBook Pro. I used to take the G5 to production offices but it's a hassle lugging it around. A second 22" on the MacBook would be perfect. I've heard there is a way to do this but can't find any info.

I think old school is the term im looking for.

Quite amazing to think that anyone of us could probably do something of a similar quality in half the time, though.

...More like a step in the evolutionary process.

Virtual backlots are what's happening now.
Here's a link showing some San Francisco VisFx I did for a series set in SF and shot in Vancouver called Killer Instinct...

Most Film and Tv art departments were still on the board in the mid 90's.

Is there a way to stop 'Profiles' from automatically being activated on new startup templates?

      Thx,
