After 3 months without any 3d work but only drawing via Procreate, I decided to continue my project of cathedral . It is a personnal version of notre Dame of Paris. There will be 13 sculptures of devils attacking the edificie around it.
Here are the pigeon, the egg, the lamb and the eye.
Some elements made with sketchup as part of the grenade, door, scissors, wheel chair and rockets.

RE: Change default material colour
@hornoxx said:
ok, if I understand correctly the process is now familiar to you - the trick is of course (as described above by Box and Tig) to save this new SetUp as your new used default template.

RE: Orgelf's works. second topic.
Luxcore is the new version of luxrender.
it is complicated as it is a PBR renderer, you have to learn all the stuff that goes with it.
More render parameters than in Cycles (Blender) to deal with but there are some tutorials on the web, and in French (by Francois Grassard for example).Blender is not a mess, it is complicated.

RE: Change default material colour
Thanks for your answer that's actually very flashy !
My problem was a bit different. As I'm 47 , light screens hurt my eyes so I have to use dark colours for the skins of my softwares. I changed the colour of the background but didn't find until today where to change the colour of the front face of the default material
.
